Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer and today we're gonna be talking about our PTC Charcoal Cabin Air Filter in our 2023 Cadillac XT5. Now this is gonna be a routine maintenance item that I recommend changing every few oil changes and what this is gonna do is it's gonna filter that air that comes in from outside of your vehicle and it's gonna help eliminate a lot of those pollutants or allergens from getting inside. This is pretty easy to swap out. Just stay tuned, I'll show you how to do it. So the access to filter, you're gonna have to open up your glove box. I recommend clearing it out so you don't have a bunch of stuff falling out and after that, you're gonna come over here and you notice you are gonna have this tab with this string attached to it and we're gonna want to take this out. more

Here's a really good example of our new filter next to the old one that we removed. And if you take a look at that old one, a lot of junk in there, dust and dirt, and everything else. And this is why it's important to keep your filter clean and replaced because it catches all this stuff and rather, I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have all that stuff blown in my face and out of my vents and in the car. So by replacing it, this one's carbon as well and so it's gonna do a good job of helping to minimize odors 'cause you get some wet debris in there and it just gets musty inside and everything else. more

Hey guys, Kevin etrailer, and today I'll be showing you how to install the PTC Cabin Air Filter here on our 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500. If you find that the air quality in your vehicle has started to dip, maybe you have a lot of allergies and you just having issues breathing inside the cab of your vehicle, then swapping out your air filter is one of the best steps to fixing that. And on top of that, a lot of the time, when you go to get an oil change you're gonna notice that they're gonna try and upsell you on replacing this filter, but you shouldn't pay for that. You can easily do this yourself within just a couple of minutes. As you can see, our old filters full of debris. There's a lot of leaves in here, a lot of dust build up inside of that. more

Andy: Hello everyone, Andy here with each trailer.com, and today we're going to take a look at the PTC custom fit cabin air filter on our 2021 Toyota Tacoma.So when it comes time to replacing your cabin air filter, it is going to be pretty straightforward as far as the installation process, but not only is this going to protect your heating and air conditioning system, but it is going to block 90% of bacteria, mold spores, any other type of things that we can breathe in or things that could possibly damage our heating and air conditioning system. It's just going to make it a more enjoyable ride in the vehicle.Now as far as the installation, it is straightforward, especially for our Toyota Tacoma. So let's go ahead and take a look at that now. Now to replace your cabin filter, you can access inside your glove box here, there is a panel that says, "Slide up and remove." We're just going to go ahead and slide that up until it pops out of place, and then from there we can just pull that back and set it right here.And now there are two clips, one on the left and one on the right. We're just going to go ahead and pinch those in in order to remove this panel here. We can set that aside as well. more

PTC Custom Fit Charcoal Cabin Air Filter Installation - 2019 Audi A3- Video

Clayton: Hey guys, how's it going Clayton here at etrailer.com, and today I have a 2019 Audi A3. I'll be showing you how to install a charcoal PTC cabin air filter. Our filter from PTC is going to be a white media particulate with a charcoal lining. It also has pleats, what these pleats are going to do is catch any dirt, debris or contaminants coming through our air. This filter is going to filter up to 90% of all contaminants, including bad odors, gases, anything else that might be coming in through our air box. This installs pretty easy, there's no need to take your car somewhere and pay somebody to do this. more
